BRIEF PROFILE OF SRI ARVIND SINGH
CMD DIGI NURTURE PVT. LTD. LUCKNOW (INDIA)
An alumnus of the Lucknow University Sri Arvind Singh was reluctant to join his family business of agricultural material based at Lucknow, the capital city of the state of Uttar Pradesh in India.
With his firm determination that he should use his education for a more meaningful purpose Sri Arvind along with his close friend Sri Dhananjay Srivastava opened a computer literacy and skill training institute in 1988 which soon grew to have several branches in different parts of the city. His good nature, positive attitude and a strong business instinct made it possible to collaborate with several people in this field; this made him successful from the very first day.
In 1992, Sri Arvind acquired a shop at Amrapali Bazar, Indiranagar, Lucknow on rent and this is where he, along with Sri Dhananjay, set up the first organized business enterprise – Universal Books.
In a short span of about 5 years, Universal Books was catering to the needs of books and stationery of about 50 prestigious educational institutions in Lucknow and surrounding areas.
The hard work, enterprising capacity and remarkable business acumen of Sri Arvind can be judged by the fact that by the year 2000, an all-new publishing company by the name of Kriti Prakashan was incorporated to publish school books while Universal continued to maintain and expand its trading business. The rest is history.
Today, Sri Arvind Singh leads the Kriti Group of Companies as its CMD; a corporate of about INR 2 Billion (200 Cr) having more than 500 employees.

An alumnus of the Amity University, Himanshu Singh is a young, vibrant and dynamic director at the Kriti Group of Companies. He is a well-known personality having a decade long experience in the field of marketing educational material both in the print and digital media. He is also widely recognized for his social work in the semi-urban and rural areas of Lucknow, Barabanki and Faizabad districts. Himanshu is personally dedicated to the promotion of quality education and also runs a CBSE affiliated school at Bhitaria (Barabanki).
